About this tool
Bulk Image Conversion applies the same output format to many files in one batch — for example turning a folder of PNGs into JPEGs or converting phone HEIC exports to PNG. Pixel dimensions stay the same; only the file format changes. Everything runs locally and downloads as a ZIP.
Best for: Folders of mixed formats that must all become JPEG, PNG, WEBP, or another single format for upload, email, or CMS import.
How to use it
- Add multiple images at once.
- Choose the output format (JPEG, PNG, WEBP, and other options in the tool).
- For JPEG or other opaque formats, set a background color if sources have transparency.
- Download the ZIP and spot-check a few files in your target app.
Common problems and tips
- PNG to JPEG batch shows white halos or wrong edges. JPEG has no transparency. Turn off “Keep transparent background” and pick a background color before converting, or export PNG/WEBP instead.
- Only some files convert successfully. Remove corrupt or unsupported files from the queue. HEIC may fail in browsers without HEIC decoding — convert those on the device first.
- I need to resize and convert at the same time. Use Bulk Image Resizer when dimensions must change, or resize individually then run Bulk Image Conversion for format only.
